DivorceCare

This is a group where individuals can discuss the emotional and practical challenges of divorce. It provides a safe, compassionate environment to share experiences, gain encouragement, and receive guidance through expert-led discussion, helping participant heal and move forward with hope.

Grant Writing 101: The Righteous Prosper

Grant writing, a piece of cake, right? Well, it all depends on the cake and how complicated the recipe is. Learn how to write a variety of proposals designed to support churches and other non-profit organizations. This Small Group is designed to teach attendees how to write basic grants and bring financial support to the Body Of Christ. Attendees will meet representatives from granting organizations from the local community, explore possible funding sources, and develop award winning proposals. Some cakes may be easy to make, but you must have the time, the right ingredients, and the right techniques.

Detours

Detours is a study that explores how God uses the unexpected twists and turns in our lives, our “detours,” to lead us to our ultimate purpose. Centered on the story of Joseph which reveals how delays, setbacks, betrayals, and disappointments can all be apart of God’s plan for personal development and destiny. You will gain a deeper understanding of how to trust God during confusing or painful seasons, encouragement to remain faithful even when life doesn’t make sense, and hope that your current detour is not a dead end but a path to your destiny.

The Great Unveiling

This is a study that discusses the journey called Life. See the Holy Spirit in the Scripture and in your life. Examine how the Spirit designed you with a special purpose. Watch as the Spirit reveals God’s purpose for you. Watch as the Spirit lead you up the spiral to greater likeness to Jesus. You will learn what the Holy Spirit is doing in the world today. Discover how you can live a Spirit filled life. Experience life in a love relationship with the Spirit of God.

Practical Christian: Wisdom from the Book of James

“Have you felt like being a Christian is the most impractical way of life? Sometimes the “holier than thou” crowd makes you feel that you must walk, talk and act like them or you are not welcome into God’s kingdom. Christians are normal people with a profession of faith in God, a promise of everlasting life and a duty to spread God’s love through the way we live. Let’s get practical about Christianity!

Dwell On These Things

The focus of this study is on memorizing and deeply reflecting on Philippians 4:4-9. Replace anxious thoughts with God’s peace through prayer and truths, build habits of focusing on what is true, lovely, and life giving, experience spiritual renewal through God’s Word, Grow in community with others through shared reflection and encouragement.

Taming Your Tongue

We all know words have power, but how often do we stop to think about how our everyday speech impacts those around us, whether we gossip, complain, lash out, flatter, or speak carelessly. What We Say (and Don’t Say) will Improve our Relationships. We must Tame our Unruly Tongues. This isn’t just about being polite, it’s about aligning our speech with our values, or faith, and our desire to build strong relationships. Because taming your tongue isn’t just self-control, it’s spiritual growth. “Watch Our Mouths; Words Have Power and Purpose be Mindful.”

Strong Girl, Strong World

Description: This small group focuses on teenaged girls has the potential to shine brightly. This small group is designed to unite, empower, encourage, and elevate young ladies as they navigate the challenges of adolescence. Together we build community and become shining lights while discussing friendships, relationships, mental health, self-love, while learning to trust God’s guidance.
